But ultimately regardless of how much I tried to ignore that fact, it was accurate, my thoughts where the base of my anxiety. I experimented with it. The more I focused my energy on the anxiety the more powerful my anxiety attack became. So with the help of a therapist, I was able to work on my feelings and defeat my anxiety.
It might be a lie to say I'm anxiety free, but I'm much more able to deal with anxiety, I've more coping strategies. Coping with anxiety is now much easier for me.
Another to bear in mind, is that anxiety may be unpleasant, but it is not always a difficult thing. This anxiety can assist up be alert, the adrenalin can keep us focused.
